Most people think trail running in Nepal means committing to a week-long expedition. It doesn't have to. Our day runs are designed for runners already in Pokhara who want world-class trails without the logistics of a multi-day trek.
Every package is entirely private, led by a professional trail running guide who adapts entirely to your pace and fitness level. Round-trip car transfers from your hotel are included. Trail snacks, water, a route briefing, and a first aid kit — all taken care of. You just run.
All three routes are rated moderate, suitable for runners with regular trail experience, and are available every day of the year. The sweet spots are October–November for crystal-clear skies and March–May for spring wildflowers — but even the monsoon months have their own dramatic beauty on these trails.

This is the route that gives you a bit of everything Pokhara has to offer — lake views, forest trails, a river crossing, a sacred summit, and one of the most iconic landmarks in the region.
Your morning begins with a scenic drive to Pame, at the southern end of Phewa Lake — Nepal's paragliding landing zone. From there you cross the Harpan Khola river and begin a steady climb through forested trails toward Pumdikot. The destination: a massive Shiva Statue at 1,350m, surrounded by 360° views of the Annapurna range, Phewa Lake, and the entire Pokhara valley below. The kind of view that makes you stop mid-stride and forget you were running.
From Pumdikot, the trail drops along a ridgeline to the World Peace Pagoda — the Shanti Stupa — one of only 80 such pagodas in the world. The white dome gleaming against the mountain backdrop is a sight that stays with you. The final stretch winds down through lush forest to Phewa Lake's edge, where a gentle riverside path leads you to the pickup point. Your driver is already waiting.

This is the longest of the three routes, and arguably the most dramatic. It starts early — with the sunrise.
Your driver takes you up to Sarangkot in the pre-dawn darkness. When the first light hits Annapurna and Machhapuchhre, painting the peaks in gold and pink, you'll understand why people set alarms for 4 AM to be here. Once the sun is up, your run begins.
The route follows the ridge westward on unpaved singletrack — no roads, no traffic, just pure mountain running. You'll pass Toripani, where paragliders launch into the valley below (yes, you run right through the takeoff zone). Then comes Kaskikot, a historic hilltop village with ancient fort ruins, before the ridge delivers you to Naudada at 1,445m — the highest point on this route. The Annapurna massif dominates the northern horizon the entire way, while the Pokhara valley stretches out below.
From Naudada, you descend through terraced farmland to Ghattekhola at 1,220m, where your car is waiting.

If you want maximum mountain views in minimum time, this is your route. The shortest of the three, it takes you to the highest point — and the panorama from the top is absolutely world-class.
A scenic drive from Pokhara brings you to Kande at 1,733m, where you step onto one of the most classic trails in the Annapurna region. The climb to Australian Camp is steady but never punishing, and when you arrive at 2,049m, the payoff is immediate: Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), and the entire Annapurna range spread across the sky. The kind of mountain panorama that lives on phone wallpapers for years.
From Australian Camp, the trail descends to Dhampus village at 1,760m, passing through the Dhampus Eco Park — a peaceful forest that feels a world away from the peaks above. You continue through the traditional village itself, running down stone steps through terraced farmland. The finish at Ghattekhola puts you right where your car is waiting.
Perfect for runners who want a powerful Himalayan experience in a compact morning — or for anyone whose legs are still feeling yesterday's ridge run.
